Program Details

Each section is a double lane, permitting four individuals to swim counter-clockwise laps while maintaining physical distancing. Reservation of this lane should be prioritized for moderate paced swimmers.

Upon entering the pool deck, proceed counter-clockwise around the pool deck until the first open space in the lane you have reserved is found. Use the tote provided to store personal items. View Pool Lane Swim Map

You must come prepared to swim, with your suit on under outer wear. Changing facilities are not available at this time. Those with accessible needs should speak to a guard on duty at the pool.



Please note:

You are responsible to manage your bookings to only have one swim per day. Those found with multiple bookings in a day may have their bookings cancelled.


- Activity area entrance has been relocated to Earl Street (near Division). Look for the signs.
- COVID self-assessment verification on the Queen's SeQure App, Membership Card and Reservation Confirmation e-mail are required for entry.
- Check-in opens 15 minutes before the scheduled swim time (and closes 15-minutes after your scheduled swim time)
- You will have 45-minutes to complete your swim, and 15 minutes to clear the building.
- Come ready to swim. All change rooms are closed and changing is not allowed in the washrooms.
- Masks are required at all times, except while in the pool.
- When you arrive to the pool deck, enter using the main deck doors, and proceed straight, taking the first open slot of the lane that you have reserved.
- Place personal items in the tote provided, and enter the water at the nearest corner of your reserved lane.
- All lane swims are counter-clockwise, keeping the lane rope on your right shoulder at all times.
- When exiting the pool, be sure to avoid entering the path of oncoming swimmers. If you need to move to a ladder in another lane, be sure no swimmers are approaching.
- Clean all equipment and tote before & after each use with the disinfecting wipes provided.
- Please familiarize yourself with the posted rules and regulations for use of the ARC facilities and equipment related to physical distancing, traffic flow, and equipment use, etc.
